European Tomato, A Red Passion: the European taste takes center stage at the Cooking Shows in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore

The international calendar of the European project “EUROPEAN TOMATO, A RED PASSION” on information and promotion actions concerning agricultural products in the internal market and in third countries, continues to expand.

After the press conferences and seminars held in September, November 2025 will feature new events dedicated to taste and culinary culture: the Cooking Shows in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, designed to engage consumers, chefs, and professionals in discovering the excellence of European agriculture.

🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur – 18 & 19 November 2025

Ben’s Independent Grocer (BIG), Publika – Solaris Dutamas

Two days of live cooking demonstrations (from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) dedicated to exploring the European tomato and its versatility in the kitchen. Guests will enjoy cooking sessions, tastings, and in-depth discussions on the values of quality, safety, and sustainability that define the European supply chain.

🇸🇬 Singapore – 25 November 2025

AT-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy, 28 Tai Seng Street

A double session (11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.) hosted at one of the most prestigious culinary training academies in Asia. Here, the European tomato becomes a tool of dialogue between cultures — blending traditional Italian recipes with contemporary Asian haute cuisine.

A bridge between Europe and Asia

These events are part of the first annual phase of the Etomaato project, promoted to highlight the European tomato as a symbol of excellence, authenticity, and sustainable innovation.
Through tastings, demonstrations, and educational activities, the initiative aims to strengthen awareness of European agri-food products and foster a stronger connection between Mediterranean heritage and Asia’s dynamic culinary scene.
